Bispens Marked has invited medieval actors from both near and far to a huge celebration that runs over 5 days.
Bispens Marked is known for being a cozy medieval market with good craftsmen, jesters and stalls selling goods related to the Middle Ages. Join in when the jester calls people together for jokes and shenanigans that will get your laughter muscles going. Watch the knights’ battle training and listen to the crisp sounds of medieval greatest hits.
Satisfy your hunger and enhance the experience at the food stalls, where beer flows from the tavern tent and various food stalls offer food that tastes of the Middle Ages and smoke. Thursday at 12 noon there will be a roast suckling pig. Everything is decorated for a medieval feast, and there are plenty of good spots to enjoy the food and cold beer or cider.
Inside the old Bishop’s Castle there is a wondrous universe where you can experience what life in the late Middle Ages might have been like.
The castle’s rooms are populated by noblewomen, scribes, fencing coaches and many more, all of whom will help bring the past to life, taking you on a journey over 500 years back in time.
The Middle Ages were colorful and so is Bispens Marked, so head to Spøttrup Borg with your family and have a holiday experience worth talking about!

Important: Bispens Market takes place throughout the area in week 30, so it is not possible to visit the park, medicinal herb garden or castle this week without a ticket for the market.
