During the fall holidays, Spøttrup Borg is filled with mystery and… ghosts! Are you brave enough to confront your own fears and superstitions. Are you brave enough to face the hidden creatures hiding in the ancient chambers? On this fun and slightly creepy journey of discovery, kids can:
All week:
- Go on a ghost hunt in the castle and uncover the secret creatures lurking in the dark corners and secret rooms.
- Carve beetle lanterns that will help them find their way through the darkest corridors.
- Make a beeswax candle for your lantern to find your way in the dark.
- Sew herb purses with magical herbs that are said to protect against both ghosts and evil forces hiding in the night.
Take the whole family on an unforgettable journey to Spøttrup Castle, where history, mystery and the Middle Ages meet. A perfect fall vacation activity for kids, parents and grandparents ready for an adventure filled with excitement and magic!
Children always accompanied by adults.

All Saints’ Day for the little ones
On Wednesday, October 15 from 16-19 we’re hosting Allehelgens for the little ones. Take the family on a less scary ghost tour for the bravest little ones. You can experience Spøttrup Borg with the cutest ghosts, mysterious sounds and the best ghost story tellers who will follow you through the corridors in the creepiest way.
Highlights:
- The tour is for children under 10 years old accompanied by an adult
- You start and end in the welcome building
- The tour takes approx. 30 min.
- You walk around in groups of max. 20 children and adults + our narrator
